Constellation Replacer – Merc Suit
****NOTE: this is a male version only ATM. Female version WIP****
This mod replaces the constellation armor with a combat one. Since the game doesn’t have any available tools at the moment, the only way to make this armor was using a model with several attachment, as the constellation armor.
To install, just copy the two folders into your data folder in Documents\My Game\Starfield\Data.
If you need help in activating mods in Starfield, google it.
It will overwrite any texture listed in the overview:
_ Retexture of SYS Def security guards (sysdef armor with neon security police look), dark green instead of blue
_ Retexture of Ecleptic Armor (dark green instead of blue)
_ Retexture of UC Navy armor pouches (again, from blueish to greenish)
Here I explain which file are replaced with what, in this mod
spacesuit_constellation_chronowatch_m.nif
now uses the mesh of the upper torso of Neon Scurity police – used cronowatch beacuse it seems it doesnt scale with morph, and clipping is reduced
spacesuit_constellation_legs_m.nif
replaced with ecleptic lower – morph file replaced for correct scaling!
spacesuit_constellation_logo_patch_2_m.nif and spacesuit_constellation_logo_patch_m.nif
replaced with armor plates from marine folder
spacesuit_constellation_sleeves_m.nif
replaced with ecleptic sleeves – morph file replaced for correct scaling!
spacesuit_constellation_torso_m.nif
replaced with US Navy crew 3d person sleeves (yeah, only sleeves, not the body!) – morph file replaced for correct scaling!
I’ve been using arms to fill a little gap present beween security armor mesh and ecleptic sleeve mesh. I think it fits pretty well…

Since the body is from a clothing outfit and not a spacesuit, backpacks are closer to the body, and the weapon holstered too. To be hones, I prefere it this way.
