Always Land On Planets
Plays the Landing Animation every time you land on a planet location, not only the first time.
Features
– Play the landing animation every time you select “Land” on a planet marker
– You can fast travel, even on the same marker, after you’ve landed on the planet
– Immersive arrival pre-animation (mandatory needed workaround)
Install
1. Enable loose files modding by editing (or creating) the file StarfieldCustom.ini located in My Games\Starfield
2. Add the following
[Archive]
bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
sResourceDataDirsFinal=
3. Extract the zip content files in your Starfield main game folder (or use Vortex)
The folder structure should look like this:

Known Issues
– Choppiness before the animation starts, due to the teleport of the player to the spaceship. I’m working on a way to hide it by using an Imod FX overlay
– Before starting the landing animation, you’ll see the player sitting in the pilot seat. This is a needed workaround to trick the game into “thinking” it’s the first landing sequence. I tried my best to mask it by placing the ship up in the sky and make it look like you’re approaching the location from the space. The actual first landing sequence on undiscovered markers is unaffected.
It should be safe to use this mod since it uses built-in functions to achieve the result, but make a backup save anyways.
Please report any bug you may encounter by using this mod, possibly with clear repro steps.
