Enhanced Tank Top – Vladimir Sall’s Outfit Remeshed
This mod hides Vladimir Sall’s tool belt and enhances the utility of the tank top as an apparel mash-up asset. This mod will only affect the female version of the outfit and is available in three body types.
The outfit can be obtained by using the console command:
player.additem 1D1DF 1
MAIN FILES
Available in 3 versions. DOWNLOAD ONLY ONE!
(1) Vanilla Body – No changes to the body proportion (it’s one of the few outfits that is already form-fitting)
(2) Enhanced – Some subtle adjustments to the body proportion.
(3) Enhanced Plus – It should be pretty obvious. Don’t worry; this doesn’t enhance Vladimir.
OPTIONAL TEXTURES FILES. DOWNLOAD ONLY ONE!
(1) White
(2) Black
(3) Pink
(4) Grey Digital Camo
(5) Galacticat
See technical notes below for DIY colour replacement.
OPTIONAL PANTS REPLACER
Replace the pants with Sam Coe’s pants. Let this overwrite the main file (load this AFTER the main file).
If you know the methods, you can use this as a template for other mesh replacements. See technical notes below.
OPTIONAL DARK RETEXTURE OF SAM’S PANTS
I used this file for many of my other mods. It is not required if you have already downloaded it.
INSTALLATION:
(1) Download one of the main files
(2) Download one of the texture files (optional)
(3) Download the pants replacer (optional) and let it overwrite the main file.
(4) Download the retexture of the pants replacer (if you don’t already have it. Again, this is optional)
Download via a mod manager (recommended). Alternatively, manually extract the files to your Data folder (in Documents\My Games\Starfield), or if you have Baka Disable My Games Folder, to your game Data folder (../Steam/steamapps/common/Starfield/Data).
Ensure that you have created the StarfieldCustom.ini file in “Documents\My Games\Starfield\” and input the following:

TECHNICAL NOTES
– I’m unable to delete vertices without disrupting the morph function. The tool belt’s vertices are shrunk down and hidden within the abdominal cavity. So far, it’s well hidden during my testing. However, if it’s poking out during specific animations, please file a bug report.
– The geometry of the upper arms was adjusted to deal with the vanilla game issue of the shoulder blades poking through the shirt while sprinting.
– The folder path of the pants replacer can be used as a template to replace the pants with other apparel. As an example, one of the trucker’s pants is shown in the screenshot. You’ll need to extract the loose files with BAE, find the nif file you want, rename it to outfit_vladimir_pants_f.nif, and replace the original .nif in my mod. You’ll also need to find the corresponding morph.dat file for the outfit you want and replace my morph.dat. Check out the many tutorials on YouTube regarding outfit/mesh replacement.
Note on texture replacement:
If you want additional colours, it’s a pretty straightforward image editing. You’ll need an image editing program that can handle .dds files, such as Photoshop, GIMP, or Paint.net. Otherwise, you can try photopea dot com. Find the outfit_vladimir_shirt_f_color.dds in your textures folder (in your Data folder). Open or import the file to your program of choice. Pick a colour, select the Bucket or brush tool, and recolour the entire image. Save as .dds. (if you’re using Photopea, click file> Export as > More > DDS. You’ll find your file in your Download folder). Replace the original .dds file under the same name. If you get a prompt from Vortex about changes in the files, select “save changes”.
