Simple Difficulty Tweaks

A difficulty mod for starfield. changing the damage the player and enemies take, as well as enemy health late game.

This is a simple mod that automatically runs a few console commands when you load the game. These commands change the following settings.

– All enemies take 2 times damage, on all difficulties.
– The player takes 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 times damage, depending on the difficulty setting.
– All enemy health gain from leveling has been disabled.

The overall effect of these changes is to make combat more tactical. Enemies go down much faster, and are less spongy, especially at high levels, however the player is much more vulnerable, and must avoid being hit.

In order to install the mod, copy the file “StarfieldCustom.ini” into the Starfield folder in My Documents. If you already have a StarfieldCustom.ini, just add the below lines.

Then copy the “DifficultyTweaks.txt” file into your main Starfield folder (where Starfield.exe is located).

Let me know if there are any other changes you would like me to make. I intend to update this into a full gameplay overhaul once the modding tools become available, so I should be able to make any suggestions happen eventually. This mod does not disable achievements.
