Better Conversations

You’re not the center of the world! Make NPCs act less like NPCs! Better Conversations is based loosely on the mod Realistic Conversations for Fallout 4. NPCs will act more like people and less like one-dimensional characters in a video game where they only exist for your benefit.

– NPCs won’t stare at you from across the room
– No more yelling at you when you aren’t close to someone that really has something to say
– The time they’ll take between entering into random conversations was cut in half
– They’ll chat more with other NPCs and you may see more groups of NPCs in conversation
– They’ll wait a few minutes between commenting on your actions
– If they have an event attached to them, you can be a little further away to trigger it
– They show more emotion when they speak
– They won’t say hello to you every 30 seconds
– They’ll look around twice as much
– They blink less
– If they’ve been in a conversation with another NPC, they’ll either find someone else to talk to, or wait 5 minutes before starting the conversation again
– There’s less delay between sentences so it’s not so robotic
– In combat, there’s a higher chance they’ll communicate with each other or taunt you (this doesn’t change Combat AI behavior, it’s just a dialogue option)

Better Conversations is compatible with pretty much anything though there may be some CCR mods that change NPC behavior and will take priority if you run both.

If you don’t know how to install mods properly, I am begging you, go watch a couple videos before downloading this or any other mods. There are so many resources available to you and smarter people than me have already explained it.
