BlasTech IB-94

This is a replacer for the Rattler – it introduces a workbench modifiable BlasTech IB-94 blaster pistol as seen in The Mandalorian.

This weapon is a total rework from the original model but the model gave me a great starting point and building blocks. The weapon includes all the attachment mods from the workbench and I designed the looks to fit within the design of the BlasTech aesthetic. My aim wasn’t 100% screen accurate as the blaster in the show seems to change appearance periodically and even online sources are based on a range of converted pistols – each of which looks different from the other. So my goal was to create a blaster that captures the essence and the hallmark details to create something that is accurate to the essence of the blaster while not getting hung up on positions of screws or whatnot.

Installation:
Just unzip and drop your *:/Documents/My Games/Starfield/ folder
As with every mod, if you haven’t already, you need to add a StarfieldCustom.ini file into your Documents\My Games\Starfield with the following text:

[Archive]
bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
sResourceDataDirsFinal=

*EDIT*
I missed the texture files on the v1.0 upload. It’s been fixed now.

Known minor bugs:
– The light on the side of the holo reticle can flicker at certain angles in 3rd person : This is an inherent issue with model culling/flicker present in vanilla items

– In photomode when you zoom in extremely close and parts of the blaster moves offscreen, parts can disappear though they should be in view : Again, an inherent culling issue with the way Starfield loads guns

– If you use the long-barrel without a compensator/muzzle break/supressor, the muzzleflash is inside the blaster : I am troubleshooting this but it’s not as simple as with Fallout 4 where you just move the projectile node. The way the models are put together there are alot of alignment variable in the nif contra the *.mesh files

– Minor alignment issue with the magazine : due to a lack of Creationkit and animation editing, it can’t be fixed at the moment. Though I did my best to minimise the visual bug.
