Clone NPC to Player

Do you want to have a playthrough as Andreja, Navea or Sam? Use copyappearance, a native console command to copy the appearance of a given NPC to your player character! This will copy the full appearance to your player character including facial geometries, body morphologies, and sex.

Note: This will not copy skeletons. What this means is while you can copy the appearance of a non-adult human the player skeleton will not change, resulting in a misalignment of various appearance attributes. In short, no kids.

How-To Steps
– Identify the NPC ID (Actor Reference aka ActorREF) to source an appearance from, here are two easy ways to find it:
– Click: If the NPC is in front of you, you can open ( press tilde ‘~ )’ the console, and click on the target to reveal the ActorREF.
– The reference name will usually begin with NPC_ and/or end with REF., and the value will be shown in parenthesis.
– List Search: You can use the help command to look for actor references in the console! Use the following command to produce a list of references:

help ref 4 ACHR
Spoiler: Show
Use the copyappearance function to copy the appearance of the target ActorREF to the player character:
Example using Andreja’s ActorREF: player.copyappearance 000059A9
player.copyappearance ActorREF

Alternate Use Case: Copy reference to target (you have clicked on).
Example, copy Andreja’s appearance to Sarah.

Installation
Place findActorREF.txt in the Starfield installation directory (where Starfield.exe is), call in game from console with bat findActorREF.

FWIW
This can also be used in a round-about way to modify existing NPCs, so to speak. You could copy the appearance of Sarah for example and then go to an Enhance Clinic to make changes. On returning to Sarah, select her in the console (click on her NPC, or use prid 00005986), and just execute copyappearance with no arguments while she’s selected; this would copy your appearance to her. This method isn’t elegant but it works.. for now

Console Output To File (SFSE Plugin) – For better viewing of console output, requires Starfield Script Extender (SFSE).
