For Manual Installation:
– Go to /Documents/My Games/Starfield/ and find or create StarfieldCustom.ini
– Add this to the .ini file and save:

bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
sResourceDataDirsFinal=
– Then extract the downloaded archive to /Documents/My Games/Starfield/Data/
Or just make your life easier by using Mod Organizer 2 instead.
