Multiple Companions Guide

YOU DO NOT NEED TO DOWNLOAD ANYTHING, its just a step by step guide on how to have multiple companions using console commands. Not sure what is the limit or if something might break, please use at your own risk.
I tested with Heller and Lin as additional companions to Barret for few hours and so far nothing has broken for me. I am not sure about how recruiting multiple constellation members would work with certain quests, so my advice is 1 constellation member (Sarah, Barrett, Sam, Andreja, Vasco) as normal follower through dialogue and “normal” recruitable followers (Marika, Heller, Lin etc.) as these “console ones”, since you can also change their gear simply through dialogue and have them be as crew members on your ship.

PS: Since Vasco is recruitable by this method, i imagine Kaiser could be too, however i would advise doing so after completion of certain questline he is included in.

Installation: None, just read the readme, tried Bat File and didnt work.

Usage: Recruiting
1st step: Open console using ; and write: ssq 0000D773
2nd step: When in console, click on npc you wish to recruit, you should see their name and ref.
3rd step: type: forcerefintoalias ActiveFollowers

***Dismissing: Dismissing is a little bit different it will dismiss all active companions back to their home, including your companion that you have recruited the normal way. To fix this, simply tell them its time to part ways and recruit them again.***

Usage: Dismissing
1st step: Open console using ; and write: ssq 0000D773
2nd step: press ; to open console and type: emptyrefalias ActiveFollowers
3rd step (Depends if you recruited a companion with vanilla dialogue recruitment): Talk to your dialogue recruited companion, tell them to go home, recruit them again so they will resume their normal following pattern and functions.

Known issues:
When you type bat release, companions recruited through dialogue will go back home too. Just talk to them, dismiss them and recruit them again.
These bonus companions will most likely not board ships, space stations work fine though.
They will not sneak.
They will not draw their weapons when you do, but dont worry, they will once combat starts.

You can use command “setplayerteammate 1” to make companions sneak, board ships and draw weapons, but in my testing it broke them after a while (Didnt respond/move) if you do this, do it at your own risk.

Example of usage:
Lets say you have no one following you. Go to Barret (or someone else you want to follow you and have a say in quests) and tell them to follow you through DIALOGUE like you normally would. Now, lets say you got Marika at Viewport to your ship crew and want her to follow you too. Go to her, click on her in console (should see her ref id and name) and type: ssq 0000D773
You should get: Console Scope Quest >> SQ_Followers (0000D773) under the command you wrote, this means that it is working.
Now, while you still have Marika Selected, type: forcerefintoalias ActiveFollowers
This should make her your active follower.

Now, lets say you want to dismiss followers. So click on the ones you recruited, again Marika in this example, and type :ssq 0000D773
This is just to be sure that Console Scope Quest >> SQ_Followers (0000D773) is active.
Now, again, while Marika is selected, type: emptyrefalias ActiveFollowers
This will make her (and 99% all other companions that are currently following you) stop following and return home.
Now, what this will also do, is make Barret, your DIALOGUE RECRUITED companion, to also go home.
To fix this, simply talk to him, tell him to go home and recruit him again.

Bonus:
If you feel the damage is too high and you have many companions, you can lower their damage with a simple command:
Click on them, and type: setav 357 0.5
This command will set their damage modifier to 50%, you can use any other number you wish to, you can even make them very deadly by putting something like 100. You can see their current damage multiplier by doing the following:
Click on them, and type: getav 357

Please, write any issues you have into bug section, and look there if your issue is already there, probably not much i can do but at least others will know what to do and what not to do.
