Nether’s Vendor Credit Variety
This mod greatly increases the chances that vendors have 3x their normal amount of credits, with them occasionally having 4x and rarely having 5x their normal credit amount.
It adds 3x, 4x and 5x amounts to the credits “level list” for restaurant/dive, restaurant upscale, boutique, convenience store, franchise store, general/outfitter, radiant poor, radiant wealthy, small business, trade authority, commercial weapons dealer and small weapons dealer.
Basically this gives every vendor a 10% chance to have their normal base amount, 50% chance to have 3x base amount, 30% chance to have 4x base amount and 10% chance to have 5x base amount (So essentially, 9 times out of 10 they will be much more wealthy). These numbers are re-rolled every time their inventory refreshes (normally 48 hours).
For RP purposes: 1x might represent a bad day, 3x is a normal haul, 4x is a good day, 5x is exceptional.
Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to remove the normal (low) value since it exists on a base form, so I decided to add some variety instead so it feels more organic (maybe). Once we have proper esp from xEdit or CK, we can do more here.
Credit Variety only needs to be run once per game load and is suitable for running as a bat file or using Console Command Runner. You don’t have to click on anyone, though that method in other credit adding mods might be good for boosting credits of an individual NPC.
Installation:
Simply download the version of the mod you wish to use and install into your Starfield folder (files are pathed from Data). You should be able to use either the core Starfield folder or the one in My Games. If using a Mod Manager, follow the guidance for that in terms of installation.
There is a version for Console Command Runner, listed as CCR.

If you are using a BAT file method, you will have to edit StarfieldCustom.ini to add: bat vcv.
[General]
sStarting–Console–Command = bat vcv
(remove the — parts because Nexus is reformatting this as code, otherwise)
If you already have a global console command file that you use for everything, you can copy the contents of vcv.txt to it.
You can also add to an existing sStartingConsoleCommand line in StarfieldCustom.ini (if you already have a file named myCommands.txt installed just as an example):
[General]
sStarting–Console–Command = bat myCommands;bat vcv
(remove the — parts because Nexus is reformatting this as code, otherwise)
Caveats:
You may need to wait up to 48 hours for this mod to apply to vendors if you’ve recently visited them.
I’m not going to make 30 different versions of this mod. If you want 10x or 100x credits, you can edit the bat or CCR file. I just kept the modifiers close to the base value because there’s always a chance that you’ll get their normal amount, even if it’s very small.
I didn’t edit the shipyard vendor amounts because it’s done in small credit multiples and rolled randomly up to 200 times, which could be a problem to add variety to.
