SM451s Texture Trove
So just over a week ago now I started modding Starfield. Learning how the current tools work, doing small tweaks here and there. Well now I feel comfortable with the pipelines for audio and textures. I’m going to be putting a lot of my tweaks in this one stop shop package. My mods that are too meta will not be included in this project. Also all textures (so far) are exactly the same size as vanilla, so in theory there should be zero performance loss.
Keep in mind, I’m just a dumbass with too much free time on my hands, not a professional. I’m not even using photoshop just Gimp 2 lmao. So think of this as just a personal passion project that I’m sharing because why not.
Textures Changed So Far:
The Big Stuff
– The Planet Akila now has a lighter texture
– Benjamin Bayu’s Statue in Neon is now Gold (Same texture as my Golden God Bayu mod)
– Solomon Coe’s Statue in Akila City is now Red
The Small Stuff
– Trash bags are now green instead of black (green makes them pop out more and imo I think the people of Starfield are more likely to recycle than dump mountains of trash on their doorsteps)
– Wooden Crates now have more detail and a more natural color
– Pallets of Bricks are now darker and no longer extremely blurry
– Wooden Ducks are now white with yellow bills instead of brown (Same texture as my Hololive Subaru ducks mod, but without the SFX)
– Bog’s Grog has a far more complimentary color pallete (Same texture as my Bog’s Grog Drink Up Me Hearties mod)
– Nasa Nightwear has a lighter texture and some Nasa themed textures (Same texture as my Nasa Nightwear mod)
