Starfield Gamers Anticipate Crafting the Game’s Premier Mod
Starfield hasn’t launched, yet eager modders are already gearing up to enhance the game with a significant community patch, and they’re recruiting additional hands.
Bethesda titles are somewhat infamous for their bugs and hiccups. Historically, modders have released unofficial patches to rectify issues that Bethesda might not have addressed officially. While it’s uncertain how bug-prone Starfield will be upon its release, it’s noteworthy that Xbox’s entire QA team is reportedly on the case. Regardless, a dedicated group of modders is already strategizing for the impending Starfield Community Patch.
The initiative is outlined as “a collaborative endeavor by mod enthusiasts and the broader Starfield gaming community to rectify glitches, mistakes, and other discrepancies in the game. This encompasses minor tweaks, typographical errors, and alterations overlooked (or not yet addressed) by the game’s creators. The overarching mission is to refine the default gameplay experience for all.”
While this venture was unveiled last year, recent reports from PCGamesN indicate that the primary team is making necessary pre-launch arrangements. “The paramount step in initiating the patch is actually playing the game! This lets us gather issues from our circle and the extensive player community,” shared Starfield Mods’ community manager, Pickysaura, in a discussion about the mod.
The fervor surrounding Starfield is palpable. Beyond the modders, some gamers are pre-emptively designing ships for the game, and one enthusiast dedicated 200 hours solely to decipher the game’s skill tree. It’s intriguing to ponder what will transpire once they delve into the game proper.
