A cumulation of every tweak mod I’ve seen on the nexus into one mod. It’s quintessential!

Changes:
These are my particular preferences when it comes to changing up the gameplay experience. I hope you like it too!
– The XP multiplier is now 15% slower.
– The scanning range for the Hand Scanner is increased by 40m.
– The highlighting range for the Hand Scanner is increased by 100m.
– The multiplier of skill level increase for the Hand Scanner is now 10% faster.
– The amount of animals needed to be scanned to complete the survey data for that species is now 5, down from 8.
– The amount of plants needed to be scanned to complete the survey data for that species is now 3, down from 8.
– The range at which the map markers are visible using the Hand Scanner is increased by 1000m.
– The probability of beating easy persuasion checks is now 15% more likely.
– The probability of beating medium persuasion checks is now 5% less likely.
– The probability of beating hard persuasion checks is now 15% less likely.
– The maximum amount of spaceships you can own is now 100, up from 10.
– The multiplier of spaceship registration costs is now 34% cheaper.
– The range to dock a ship is increased by 500m.
– The range of looting objects in space is increased by 1000m.
– The multipliers of damage dealt BY the player is now: Very Easy | Easy | Normal | Hard | Very Hard = 3x | 2x | 1.5x | 1.75x | 2x
– The multipliers of damage dealt TO the player is now: Very Easy | Easy | Normal | Hard | Very Hard = 0.5x | 1x | 2.5x | 2.75x | 3x
– All NPCs now consume ammo, including companions.
– The probability that NPCs will taunt the player is now 50% less likely.
– The probability that NPCs will react to being attacked is now 50% more likely
– The probability that killed NPCs will drop their equipped armor is now 40% more likely.
– The probability that killed NPCs are to spawn a Legendary weapon or armor is now: Very Easy | Easy | Normal | Hard | Very Hard = 0% | 0.5x | 1x | 2x | 3x
– NPCs will stay in a suppressed state for 5s longer.
– The probability range at which an NPC will advance their position from behind cover is now approximately 15% more likely.
– The probability that an NPC will move to another piece of cover is now 8% more likely.
– The delay that an NPC will throw an object, such as a grenade, is decreased to be between 1s and 2s depending on the object thrown.
– The amount of time that an NPC will react to you when spotted by them is between 0.15s and 0.33s.
– The aim variance of an NPC when they are aiming is reduced by 15%.
– The accuracy of an NPC when they are shooting is increased by 10%.
– The probability that an NPC will retreat is now 20% less likely.
– The probability that an NPC will provide cover fire for his/her ally is increased by 15%.
– The probability that an NPC will choose to attack you with another ally is increased by 25%.
– The sneak perception value of NPCs is reduced by 15%.
– The detection view cone of NPCs is reduced to 150°, down from 190°.
– The maximum distance that NPCs are capable of detecting you is 5x further.
– The maximum distance that NPCs are capable of detecting you in exterior areas is 37.5% closer.
– The multiplier that affects sounds made by the player while sneaking (like shooting your gun) is now 25% less likely to cause detection.
– The multiplier that affects sounds made by the player when sneaking out of sight is now 40% less likely to cause detection.
– The multiplier that affects sounds made by the player when running is now 50% less likely to cause detection.
– The multiplier that affects sneaking next to a sleeping NPC is now an additional 90% less likely to cause detection.
– NPCs will be alerted to a dead body when they are within 3m of it.
– The minimum number of pins per key is now: Novice | Advanced | Expert | Master = 2 | 2 | 3 | 3
– The maximum number of pins per key is now: Novice | Advanced | Expert | Master = 2 | 3 | 3 | 4
– The total number of keys for each lock is now: Novice | Advanced | Expert | Master = 4 | 6 | 8 | 12
– The minimum number of keys required to unlock one ring is now: Novice | Advanced | Expert | Master = 2 | 3 | 3 | 3

– The minimum probability that a pickpocket will succeed is now 10%.
– The maximum probability that a pickpocket will succeed is now 100%.
– The multiplier of credits earned from sold items is now 50%.
– The amount of days that a vendor takes to restock their inventory is now 1d.
– The minimum value of an item before it is considered stolen is now 1000 Credits.
– The amount of days it takes for an NPC or faction to stop being hostile towards you is now 7d.
– The minimum distance that quest markers are visible at is now 75m.
– The maximum distance that quest markers are visible at is now 200m.
– CO2 now drains 5x faster once your O2 is depleted.
– Overall movement speed, walking, running, and sprinting, is reduced by 35%.
– Fall damage has been removed entirely.
– Mines now have a 0.5s detonation delay after being thrown.
– The fade-in effect when aiming down sights with an optic has been removed entirely.
– The amount of time that shell casings remain on the ground has been increased to 9000m, up from 5m. (Does not affect performance)
– The amount of shell casings that can be seen simultaneously has been increased to 9000, up from 512. (Does not affect performance)
– The distance at which you could see shell casings has been increased to 5000m, up from 25m. (Does not affect performance)
– All weapons now reload 50% faster.
– The minimum delay between each blink of the player character or NPC is now 2s, down from 3s.
– The maximum delay between each blink of the player character or NPC is now 3.5s, down from 5s.

Install:
Download the main file called Quintessential Tweaks.

2. Place the main file (called QuintTweaks.txt) in your Starfield installation directory where the Starfield.exe is located.

a. For Steam Users: the installation directory is typically located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Starfield.

b. For Game Pass Users: the installation directory is typically located at C:\XboxGames\Starfield\Content.

3. Open your StarfieldCustom.ini and add the lines below. If you don’t have a StarfieldCustom.ini or don’t know where it’s located, follow step 4 to learn how to find and create one.

4. Download the optional file called StarfieldCustom.ini and place it into your Documents\My Games\Starfield folder.
