You Companion
This mod adds the “You?” companion from the MQ401b mission in NG+. As this mission is currently bugged in NG+ I figured people might want to use the companion in their own playthrough, I’ve been using it myself for the past 20 hours without a single problem!
Be warned, the companion has a lot of dialogue, some of which contain spoilers of the end game.
If you wish to use this mod and continue getting achievements, you will need the following:
For Game Pass I recommend using Starfield Achievement Enabler
Steam users can use either Starfield Achievement Enabler or Baka Achievement Enabler
Instructions
Download and place YouCompanion.txt in the root of your game folder.
Load your save and when in-game, type the following in the console:
bat YouCompanion
Once the previous command has run, the game engine should have generated the character and assigned it a reference, you will need to get this ID yourself, to do so type the following command and make note of the ID which is returned in the console.
help OtherPlayerREF
Once you have your ID you just need to teleport the NPC to you, to do this type the following in the console (run twice if NPC doesn’t appear)
<ID result from help command>.moveto player
That’s it, if you close the console the companion should be standing next to you, simply speak with them and accept their offer to join the crew!
